The Counselling department serves as a vital part of the supportive pastoral care service to members of Rhema Bible Church. The department serves as a referral source in helping our members find solutions to their problems whether they be spiritual, psychological, emotional, relational and/or social. There are experienced pastoral care counsellors who are equipped to assess, counsel and/or refer clients to appropriate mental health institutions, mental health professionals (i.e. psychologists & psychiatrists), family law experts, social welfare, mediation, child support, etc.

Specialised Counselling The Counselling department also offers specialised counselling to members of the church for free. If you need godly counselling in the following areas, you can contact us for an appointment: – Relationships / Marriage counselling – Trauma Debriefing – Anger management – Sexual disorders /  Sexual assault – Mental disorders – Conflict Resolution – Unresolved emotional issues

Counsel on personal challenges such as: – Drug Addiction – Restoration – HIV counselling – Renewing one’s mind (Godliness) – Challenged to change (old self-destructive ways) – Developing a healthy self worth and self-esteem

Call Centre The Call Centre is another important section of our Counselling department. The Sunday telephone attendants respond to calls from Pastor Ray’s TV broadcasts pray for the callers and often lead them to the Lord. Encouragement and counselling is offered to callers from any province in South Africa. Rhema Ministries cover the costs of every incoming call on Sundays. Hours of operation: Monday to Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm Friday  8:30am – 4:00pm
